Follow these steps to permanently delete your BillXact account from the mobile app.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Your login credentials and personal details are removed immediately — you cannot log in again, but you can re-register with the same phone number. Bill history (invoices) is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. All other data (products, settings, categories) is removed immediately.
Launch the BillXact app on your Android device and log in to your account. You will land on the Dashboard screen.
On the Dashboard, tap the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines ☰) in the top-left corner of the screen to open the side navigation menu.
In the side menu, scroll to the bottom. You will see a red "Delete Account" option at the bottom of the menu. Tap it.
A dedicated Delete Account page will open showing exactly what data will be deleted and what will be anonymised. Read carefully, then tick the confirmation checkbox.
Type a brief reason for leaving (minimum 15 characters, maximum 50 characters). This helps us improve the app.
Once the reason is valid and the checkbox is ticked, the "Delete My Account" button becomes active. Tap it to confirm. You will be logged out immediately.
Anonymised records are required under Indian GST and financial regulations.
If you're having trouble with the app or want to discuss other options before deleting, our support team is happy to help. Once deleted, the account cannot be recovered — but you can create a new account with the same phone number after deletion.
